CPS & Channel History

The CPS & Channel History report provides real-time time-series analytics and historical reporting for Calls Per Second (CPS) and active concurrent channels across your organization’s routing infrastructure. Use this report to evaluate peak call volume metrics, monitor network concurrency, and export channel utilization data.

Filtering Options

Use the filter controls to narrow down the time-series analytics. Click Apply Filters to update the chart and data table, or Clear Filters to reset.

FilterDescription
Date PresetQuick-action buttons to filter by time window: 1m, 5m, 30m, or 1h.
Custom DateSelect a custom date/time range for historical analysis.
PrefixFilter by a specific outbound trunk prefix (e.g., 12345 - ABC Company Outbound, Global, All).

Visual Analytics Chart

The report renders an interactive time-series chart displaying two metrics:

  • CPS (Calls Per Second): Tracks the call setup frequency rate over the selected time interval.
  • Channels: Tracks the number of concurrent active call legs/channels at each timestamp.

Historical Data Fields

The table below the chart provides granular, timestamped record points.

FieldDescription
DateTimestamp of the sample interval (formatted as MMM DD, YYYY, hh:mm:ss a).
PrefixAssigned routing prefix, or Global for the overall account.
CPSMeasured calls per second during the logged interval.
ChannelsCount of active concurrent call channels during the logged interval.

Available Actions

  • Download CSV: Exports the current filtered channel history data. Large exports are chunked according to the selected rows-per-page setting (15, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000).
